Purpose Statement

This document outlines the steps for configuring incident workflows


Incident Workflows 

Once a user has filled out all the pertinent areas in an incident, there will be option to submit in the upper right corner of the screen

Note: This option only exists if you have both a workflow created and assigned to the incident type as well as global workflow setting enabled.  

  1. To configure the workflow, navigate to the Admin Tab and then go to Company Settings>Global Setup>Workflows. Generally speaking, you will want to use the default workflow for incidents and adjust accordingly for each client. Click “Add Default” and from the workflow type, choose “Incident Types”.
  2. A pop-up will appear allowing you to type in a default email address that all emails would come from in the incident workflow. You also will be able to choose a group of approvers for the HR Admin Approval Step. Neither of these are required fields. Once complete, click “OK
  3. Once you click “OK” the following default screen will open:

Note: You can set up different workflows for different incident types. You will need to assign the correct workflow to the appropriate incident type.
