This document outlines how to set up a Benefit Profile Settings
Benefit Profile Settings
- From the Admin tab, go to Company Settings>Profiles/Policies>Benefits>Profiles
- To add a new profile, click the Add New Profile button.
3. a. Name: The name of the profile as you would like it to display on employee records and reports.
b. Description: An optional description for the profile.
c. Active: Check to make this profile active.
d. Simple Enrollment Settings: Check this to make one set rule that dictates when a new employee can enroll for all benefits associated with this profile. If you do not check this box, you will be able to control new employee enrollment for each group of benefits assigned to the profile. Once checked, the box below will display.- Last Day New Employee Can Enroll
- You can choose, X number of Days, Weeks, Months, or Years from Date Hired, Date Started, Birthday, Seniority Date, Date Re-Hired, Review Date, Benefits Date, Frozen Benefit Date
- Below the above selections, you can choose, Use: Date Hired, Date Started, Birthday, Seniority Date, Date Re-Hired, Review Date, Benefits Date, Frozen Benefit Date, if the employee is missing the above date
- You can then choose, Adjusted To Immediately, First of the Following Month, First of the Following Quarter, which works with the above settings
e. Open Enrollment Benefits Questionnaire: If a separate questionnaire is needed for open enrollment, they can be created and added here. Clicking the hyperlink will take you to the configuration screen for creating the questionnaire.
f. New Hire Benefits Questionnaire: If a separate questionnaire is needed for new hire enrollment, they can be created and added here. Clicking the hyperlink will take you to the configuration screen for creating the questionnaire.
