Recruitment: Indeed Integration Setup
1) Instruct the client to reach to indeed and advise them they are looking to integrate with their ATS platform.
2) Ask for the clients email address linked to their indeed account and their company's name on indeed. If they are multi-ein, you will need the name for each company. If they have more than one indeed account, get the email to the main account. Indeed will have to do some work on their end to associate company accounts with each company.
3) Turn on the Indeed Integration in the system (HR Setup > Applicant Tracking / Recruitment > Configuration - On the Job Boards Tab)
Note: Be sure to check the Opt In, as this allows applicants to apply directly from Indeed and will increase the number of applicants.
4) Instruct the client to reach out to their indeed rep (or customer support) with their career search page URL and let them know they will be feeding their jobs over from their ATS system and that they need to have them linked with their company indeed account. They should get confirmation from Indeed when this has been completed.
5) Have the client verify it is working. If there are any issues, like they don't see the jobs in their indeed portal, they need to reach out to Indeed.
Sponsoring jobs on Indeed
Jobs cannot be sponsored from the ATS, this has to occur on Indeed's end in what Indeed calls a Campaign.
Client can sponsor jobs in a few ways:
1) They email their Indeed rep with the job they'd like to sponsor
2) They create a campaign in Indeed
3) They work their Indeed rep to setup automated #hashtag campaigns. This is where they add a #keyword at the end of their job requisition / posting that syncs with a campaign on the indeed side when it is sent over.
Other things to make the client aware of:
1) Indeed will only keep a job posted for a maximum of 120 days
2) Indeed qualifies jobs based on content in the posting, so if a job is not posting to indeed and shows posted in our system, the client needs to talk with indeed to find out why.
