TeamText - Broadcast Messaging Service Added (SMS)

Dear Valued Client,

We went ahead and added TeamText broadcast messaging service to your environment.  Your outgoing text message number will be xxx-xxx-xxxx. Here are the steps for you to complete to get started:

  1. Review this admin guide to familiarize yourself with the features.  Some items on the guide only apply to clients who use the recruitment module and are messaging applicants.
    If using two-way messaging with applicants, applicant responses can only be read on the communication tab of the applicant profile. An email notification can be enabled to help prompt you to review and respond.
  2. Remove Cell Phone formatting like dashes, parentheses, etc. on employee cell phone numbers.
  3. Add any missing cell phone numbers for employees, or we can add security settings for them to update their own number if missing or it changes.  Let us know if you’d like that.
  4. Have employees opt in for compliance reasons. Here is a guide with the steps.

    We recommend you go through the steps first for yourself to better understand the process.  Also, I updated the start menu to include a button to these preferences to make it even easier for employees to get to.  Some clients have used a Broadcast Message Email to send out the guide to employees to get started as another idea.
  5. Check out some of the new reports available:

Once employees have opted in, they can start receiving text messages.   

We added the ability to send TeamText Broadcast Messages and create message templates to your security profile.  Let us know if you’d like more profiles to be able to send those out or create templates.
